So as you know yesterday 26-6-17 was the 20th anniversary of my all time favourite series Harry Potter.​

 I just wanted to take the time to thank  J.K Rowling for creating a world that will never ever ever be forgotten.She has made books that will (maybe they already are) be a classic for generations. Harry Potter has taught me so much through out the books(golly I’m getting emotional) about friendship,love,courage,family and just everyday life lessons that we should always value with our hearts. I don’t care if Harry Potter is “just a book” or “just a story” It’s changed so many life’s and has influenced so many people all over the world,and I think it’s absolutely amazing how a series could do that.I’m so happy that J.K Rowling thought twice about committing suicide and I’m EXTREMELY happy that she fought depression and kicked it in the Butt and said “NOT TODAY LOSERS”!( okay she probably didn’t do that but still she could have) because she has truly changed the hearts and life’s of many many people not just kids but adults as well. It’s almost as if she’s created a whole new generation people of people herself. So thank you J.K you have truly made not just my life complete but many other people’s life.I love you J.K💖💖💖💖😘😘

24-Hour-Readathon😃

Hello Fan Warriors,

So I’ve done my readathon and I have to say it was actually very relaxing…Well apart from a few deaths here and there and me crying my heart out, but you know that’s how it is isn’t it. I remember the good old times when I was young and used to think main characters can’t die because they are the main character, but oh how the tables have turned.Now death is written all over the main characters I read about😨.Anyways back to the readathon. As I said it was really relaxing and I actually managed to read 2 books and around 100 pages of my third book. I took some breaks in between as well cause I didn’t want to get too stressed out while I’m reading and try to finish like 8 books or something cause then it doesn’t become fun anymore.I also didn’t go on my phone because it always distracts me from reading because of the internet, social media, YouTube…ESPECIALLY YOUTUBE.But anyways after the readathon I’ve decided that I’m going to read more often during the day instead of night because otherwise when I wake up in the morning I don’t feel fresh AT ALL and I can’t concentrate for the rest of the day,which is bad because I’m in high school now and we’ve already taken like around 10 tests maybe and it’s been two terms… I don’t know how many tests we’ve actually had but we’ve had lots .But yeah I had a lot of fun during the readathon and I am definitely doing it again soon. Maybe end of term holiday??

24-Hour-Readathon

Since tomorrow is the start of the weekend (in New Zealand any way) I was thinking of starting  24 hour readathon challenge that has been going around youtube. Now you might assume from the title of the challenge that you HAVE to read for 24 hours but don’t worry that ain’t the case😂😂(I won’t ever be able to do that). Anyway the whole point is to read for 24 hours but you are allowed to take breaks and they don’t have to be short ones they can be as long as you like. And the aim is to read as many books or pages as you can in these 24 hours. There’s no need to get stressed out during this challenge…It’s a time where you get to chill and read.ANYONE WANT TO JOIN ME!!!!!! I would really appreciate it if someone could comment down below and join me.Even if no one wants to join I’ll still do it😉Just curious to see if anyone’s interested in joining me.So any volunteers?🙌

Here’s an extra for those who made it alive to the end​

The Wolf Wilder

Sorry for not being around for a long time. But anyways I have read a really good book called the Wolf Wilder written by Katherine Rundell and its honestly become one of my favourite books. It’s about a girl called Feodora and her mum who is a wolf Wilder. They both live in the snowy part of Russia in a forest with a wooden house. Since her mother is a wolf Wilder (a person who teaches Wolfe’s to be wild again after they’ve come they’ve been domesticated by the rich for pleasure) there is a chapel that is ten minutes away from their house that a has a pack with a  a few wolves in it. One day the army goes knocking on their door at night because they think that one of their wolves has eaten their deer or something (can’t remember now!) and as a punishment they take Feodoras mother away and take her to jail. So the she story is about Fedora finding justice. And along the way she makes many friends that help her including a boy from the army but didn’t want to join in the first place called Illya. It’s such a beautiful story about how friendship can go a long way and the writing it’s self is extremely unique and it’s almost set out like a fairy tale. If I were you I would definitely put this in your ‘to be read’ list!!

Hello everyone!,

This is not my usual type of post but I am making a very special shoutout to one of my Best friends Minduli! She is an amazing person and I relate to her A LOT!! She also loves to read so we have alot to talk about. Again happy birthday Minduli and i’m so glad you moved to Dunedin you are honestly going to be a life friend I can just tell.

Also I don’t actually know about this book but Minduli is getting obsessed with these series called ‘The Eye Of Minds’ it is written by the same author of the Maze Runner. Hopefully she will comment down below on what it is about cause I don’t know much about it to be honest. Anyway ya that’s all I have to say… 🙂 HAPPY BDAY MINDULI!!

Just some thoughts…..

Okay so I wanted to post something but I didn’t know what to write about. So I decided to write a thought that I’ve always thought about. So you know how your fav series or book is getting turned into a movie and you’re all like ” OMG YASSSSSS IT’S GOING TO BE SO COOL AND SO ACCURATE OMG OMG OMG!!!?”. Then the movies come out and it’s like ” WHATTTT THAT WAS NOT IN DA BOOK” “THAT NOT HOW DA CHARACTER LOOK LIKE” “MY LIFE IS RUINED!!” For example…

Even Annabeth is annoyed.

But anyway do the people who make the movie even read the book? Because most of the time it does not seem like it. There needs to be a book slapper who slaps the directors in the face with the book and say “But in the book…” because honestly it gets really annoying. I can list all the movies that are not like the book: Maze Runner series, Percy Jackson 1st and 2nd book, Narnia.Harry Potter(for some parts), the spook’s apprentice and a lot of others.

How To Save Money On Books

Hi people’s!

So these days I have realized that books are kind of expensive…especially when you are a kid (i’m 13 so ya know I might be considered a teen but still). So I have some really helpful tips that could help you save money. I don’t know if this will work for all of you but it works for me so yeah let’s get on with it.

~~ Buy books from the thrift store. Sure they might be a bit ripped but at least you can still read them. I found this to be really helpful and to be honest most of my books are from the thrift shop and there were like 50 cents each! even 2 harry potter books I have were like a dollar each or something.

~~ Go to the library!! Join the library, get a library card and go to the library. It has so many books (obviously). The great thing is that it’s completely free! You can even go to your school library.

~~ Borrow books from friends.Im sure your friends wont mind you borrowing their books for a bit 🙂 (Make sure to return it!)
